Electrohydrolic Technology (EHT)

EHT Technology — Advanced Well Stimulation for Maximizing Reservoir Productivity

EHT (Electro-Hydraulic Technology) is a cutting-edge solution designed to revitalize mature wells and optimize production in even the most challenging geological environments. By utilizing high-energy physics, EHT overcomes traditional stimulation limitations to unlock untapped reservoir potential.

The Science of High-Energy Impact

Our technology operates through controlled high-voltage electric discharges (3000–5000 V) within the wellbore fluid. This process triggers a complex sequence of physical phenomena:

– Ultra-high pulsed hydraulic pressure generated via intense cavitation.

– Acoustic and electromagnetic radiation across a broad frequency spectrum.

– Rapid energy release creating high-pressure heated gas states that exert powerful kinetic force on the formation.

As shock waves propagate through the rock, they create repetitive “compression–decompression” cycles. These hydraulic impulses penetrate the rock framework and porous media, significantly enhancing the capacitive and filtration properties of the near-wellbore zone.

Key Benefits for Reservoir Management

EHT technology provides a comprehensive cleaning and stimulation effect:

– Perforation Cleaning — Efficiently removes sediments, colmating particles, and asphalt-paraffin deposits.

– Fracture Optimization — Opens existing natural fractures and facilitates the creation of new micro-fractures to improve connectivity.

– Enhanced Flow — Drastically improves fluid mobility within the reservoir.

Proven Performance in Low-Permeability Reservoirs

EHT has demonstrated exceptional results in “tight” formations where conventional methods often fail. Our technology is proven to:

– Increase well flow rates even in reservoirs with porosity as low as 7–8% and permeability as low as 0.02–0.1 μm².

– Reduce water cut in producing fluids, optimizing the economic life of the well.

Global Track Record and 2024 Innovation

Our technology is field-proven through successful deployments across major oil-producing regions, including Kazakhstan, China, Western Siberia, and Bashkortostan.

Next-Generation Capabilities

In 2024, we launched our most advanced suite of downhole tools yet. The new equipment features an energy capacity exceeding 3 kJ—a 200–300% increase over previous generations.

Reliability and IP Protection

– Patented Technology — Our unique methods and tools are fully protected by international patents.

– Certified Equipment — All tools are fully certified and engineered for high-reliability performance in demanding environments.

Advantages of the proposed EHT technology:

*  Oil wells – increase in additional oil production through the well without significant capital investments. The treatment is carried workover wells;
* Injection wells – increase the pick-up rate of injection wells through the tubing column (without involving a cattle brigade);
* Low time spent on well processing (6-18 hours) depending on the reservoir capacity;
* Effectiveness is more than 6 months;
* Various diameters of devices for solving problems – 90mm., 52mm., 42mm.
* Success rate in the range of 80%.

Parameters of wells for processing using EHT technology:

* Oil production and injection wells – up to 3000 m.,
* Production column – 146-168 mm.,
* Temperature of the object (reservoir) – up to 100 degrees.,
 * Reservoir- terrigenous / carbonate,
 * Water content of well products – up to 95%,
 * Well condition –calibrated, clean sump

The experience of application of this EHT technology shows that even at oilfields in reservoirs with porosity of 7-8% and permeability of 0.02-0.1μm2 it is possible to obtain increase of well flow rate and decrease of water content in producing fluid.
